Ashtons Legal appoint three new Senior Associates
Ashtons Legal LLP is pleased to announce the appointment of three new Senior Associates.
Zara Bracegirdle, Gemma Helsdon and Ruth Burrell all joined Ashtons in September, Zara and Gemma in the Lifetime Planning team and Ruth in Commercial Property. They all work across the firm’s regional offices in Bury St Edmunds, Cambridge, Diss, Ipswich and Norwich.
Both Zara and Gemma are members of the Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners (STEP), with Gemma having their Advanced Certificate in Will Drafting. They assist clients in drafting Wills, estate administration and probate, Inheritance Tax planning, Powers of Attorney, trusts, and lifetime and succession planning. Gemma has particular experience working with high net-worth clients and Zara has worked with many business owners and agricultural businesses.
Meanwhile, Ruth specialises in commercial property work, often large estates involving agricultural land and industrial premises to enable diversification. She also has an interest and expertise in leasehold enfranchisement work, acting for landlords and tenants on agreed and statutory lease extensions, purchases of freeholds and rights to manage.
Ashtons CEO James Tarling says: “I am really pleased to welcome Zara, Gemma and Ruth to Ashtons Legal. We are a growing firm, and these senior appointments will bolster our already top-class legal teams. I wish each of them well and hope they have long, happy careers with Ashtons”.
