Ashtons’ Cambridge office continues to grow
Ashtons Legal are delighted to welcome five new staff to its Newmarket Road office in Cambridge.
Three of the five recruits have joined the firm’s thriving property division and two the expanding business law group.
John Yatchisin has joined the Corporate and Commercial team as an Associate and Alex Curnow, Solicitor, joins the Employment team. Katy Williamson is a Solicitor in the firm’s Commercial Property department and both Amee Brittenum and Vasyl Bondaryev are new Conveyancing Assistants in the Residential Property arm of the business.
Ashtons CEO, Ed O’Rourke said: “We are absolutely delighted to welcome John, Alex, Katy, Amee and Vasyl to the firm. These appointments enable us to expand further our commercial presence in Cambridge but also to serve our private client base. John has many years of experience representing clients of all sizes, and also spent seven years working as an in-house lawyer so he understands the client’s needs from a commercial as well as legal perspective. Alex has a broad range of experience in the employment law field and is heavily involved in the local professionals network as a member of the Employment Lawyers Association, the Cambridge Young Professionals Group, Junior Chamber International in Cambridge and the Cambridgeshire Junior Lawyers Division”.
“Katy originally qualified as a solicitor in New Zealand and then worked for a firm in London before joining Ashtons. She acts for a range of business clients with their commercial property portfolios, primarily with acquisition and development matters. On the Residential Property side, Amee and Vasyl join recently promoted Associate Fiona Ouzman’s growing conveyancing team”.
Ed adds: “We are continuing to expand our teams in Cambridge so are delighted that we are continuing to attract so much new talent to the firm.”
