Ashtons advise on sale of Priory Insurance Brokers to Alan Boswell Group

Ashtons Legal has recently advised the owners of Priory Insurance Brokers, an independent insurance broker based in Norfolk, on the sale of the company to the Alan Boswell Group, an insurance and financial planning group with 40 years’ experience.

The Ashtons team was led by Mark Watson (Corporate & Commercial), who was supported by colleagues Jasmine Allen and James Brighton (Corporate & Commercial), Jessica Piper (Employment) and Ruth Burrell (Commercial Property) from within Ashtons’ Business Client Group.

Priory Insurance Brokers was founded in 1973 and works across commercial and personal lines insurance. As part of the transaction, all staff and premises are being retained and the firm will continue to trade as Priory Insurance Brokers for the foreseeable future.
